Five minutes drive from Ballyhealy House lies Kilmore Quay.  A lovely place for a ramble, Kilmore Quay is a small rural fishing village.  Located just 19km from Rosslare Port this village also boasts a new 55 berth marina.  Kilmore Quay has a long reputation as an angling centre and the surrounding area has many unspoilt sandy beaches, perfect for lazy days out.  During the middle of July each year Kilmore Quay hosts an annual seafood festival, not to be missed by those gourmands out there!

Within a short drive of 30 minutes or less lie many interesting locations.  These include Wexford town, Rosslare, Our Lady's Island, John F. Kennedy Park, Dunbrody Famine Ship, Irish National Heritage Park, Yola Farmstead, Johnstown Castle and Gardens and Hook Head and Lighthouse.

Golfers will be spoilt for choice with many excellent 18 hole courses within a short drive from Ballyhealy House.  For those of you wanting a challenge why not try out the championship courses at Rosslare or Mount Juliet?  Other super courses include St. Helens, Wexford, Enniscorthy and New Ross.
